The Clarity Department is a workplace consultancy focused on clear communication, plain language, and calling out corporate nonsense with care.

We help organisations fix confusing policies, messy systems, and team communication that makes people check out.

We don’t do jargon. We don’t do corporate spin. We don’t write things nobody reads.

We make policies readable. We help leaders communicate like humans. And we give teams the words they need to do their best work.

We’re not here to sound clever. We’re here to make sense.

Our Cultural Positioning

The Clarity Department is based in Aotearoa and committed to clear, human-first communication.

We support plain English as one part of accessibility, and we recognise that English is not the only, or always the best, language to carry meaning in this place.

We do not translate te reo Māori, tikanga, or Māori worldview content, and we acknowledge the importance of working with Māori when Māori content or kaupapa is involved.

We’re happy to collaborate alongside or make space for Māori-led professionals where cultural integrity is required.
